– We will have 48 hours between each Newborn Photography Session

– All props and fabrics will be washed and sanitised

– The studio will be fully cleaned and sanitised

– Please remove your shoes at the front door

– I will have masks and gloves available to wear (at your request)

– Sanitiser station at our front door, to sanitise hands regularly

– Immediate family only, children to stay for their photos only

– No outside props

– Practice social distancing as much as possible

– Options always available for outside sessions

Thank you of your patience, we are doing everything we can to keep your family safe during this time. We have missed photographing you and we are looking forward to seeing you back in the studio soon.

What do I need to bring to my newborn photography session?

So, you’ve booked in your newborn session, what next???

  • Keep us updated on any changes to your pregnancy and due date
  • Start to think about your preferred style and colour for your babies session. What colour would you like your little one wrapped/swaddled in?
  • Start to think about clothes for you, your partner and any siblings to wear during the photo session? After your baby is born, life can be very busy, so its good to have thought about this beforehand.
  • Once baby arrives, please send us a quick message and we will confirm your newborn photography session date and time with you.

On the day of your newborn photography session…

  • Bring additional milk for your baby (and a pacifier if they have one)
  • Dress your baby in a front-opening onesie, this is easy to remove without waking your baby up (avoid singlets)
  • Siblings are usually photographed first, so dad can take them to a park for a play after. Its a long time for little people to wait quietly, and we have a few parks within walking distance, or a short drive, from our home studio.
  • For yourself, wear cool comfortable clothing. Neutral clothing photographs best, (avoiding large print/writing/logos) and take the time to ensure clean hands and nails. Get in and have your photograph taken! Its a special time of your life, and your babies life, and even if you are feeling tired, you will value these precious photos in time to come.
  • Relax…enjoy the day! If you’re running late, I understand, just send me a quick message, and I’ll see you when you arrive.

Father’s Day Gift Ideas

Thinking of something special for Dad this year?

How about a photography session, with his family. A great idea to capture some fun, family moments with Dad, especially after a long lockdown in Melbourne!

Mums, this one is also great for you too, as you can relax and have fun, and BE in the photos along with Dad and the kids!

Ideas for an outdoor dads session include – hiking, walking along the beach, going for a bike ride, a scoot, and any other fun, family activity when Dad is in amongst all the action with the kids!

Gift Vouchers are available and can be delivered to your address in Point Cook or Sanctuary Lakes.

Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

How often is mum behind the camera busy taking the photos? How often is mum IN the actual photo… with her kids, laughing, and having fun? These photos are priceless, its what your kids will look back on in years to come.

Often mums can be reluctant to get into the photos, or just don’t have the opportunity to. We want to change that!

We think a great gift idea for mum, is a photo session with her in the middle of it. Yes! Its time for mum to get into the photo! And I don’t mean indoor studio sessions, but fun, outdoors, and having a laugh and just playing with her kids. Laughter makes you feel good, everyone has a good time, and mum gets some timeless photos that show off her love for her family, with her in them!

So, come on Dads and kids, get mum a Mother’s Day gift that she’ll love, a gorgeous family photography session.

CakeSmash Birthday Fun

A cakesmash is a great way to celebrate your babies upcoming first birthday.

Cakesmash sessions are best held when your baby is 10 – 11 months old. This gives me enough time to get your digital photos completed and you can then use them to create your first birthday invitations!

The cakesmash is a fun session! We do a mini portrait sitting first, then put baby into his/her set up and place the cake in from top them. The fun begins…. some babies love the cake and some are a little shy of it, but either way we capture some beautiful photos of your gorgeous little one.

After the cake smash, and a quick clean up, we provide a warm bubble bath in a mini classic claw-foot bath. Most babies absolutely love this part of the photo session and again, we capture all the fun for you.

The entire session lasts approximately one hour, and baby gets to go home, home and cosy and restful after his/her bath.
